Photos from the Dolomites, one of my favourite regions in Italy. Many of these photos are from Alpe di Siusi, the highest altitude meadow in Europe, which is so picturesque it has to be seen to be believed! Others are from the Messner Mountain Museum at Sigmundskron Castle, the medieval streets of Bolzano, Runkelstein Castle, which is famous for its murals, and the postcard-pretty town of Ortisei. And some are of the beautiful horses and cows I met
